Your Privacy Is Very Important To Us

Plumu app (“App”) has been developed with the mission of providing parents (“parent”, “you”) with peace of mind and confidence that their children watch age-appropriate video content. We value the trust you have placed in us as we execute to achieve this goal. We ask for your personal information only when we truly need it.

  1. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
  2. We do not share your personal information, unless we absolutely have to, e.g. to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  3. We take extra precautions for our users, and have designed the App to minimize the collection and use of personally identifiable information.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the information collected by Products That Matter, LLC (“we,” “us” or “our”), creator and operator of the Plumu mobile app and plumu.app website, through our mobile application and website “Services” and how we use that information. This Policy applies to all personal information that we collect about you, whether you are a resident of the United States, European Union (EU), or anywhere else in the world.

This Privacy Policy complies with the requirements of:

  1. United States’ Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
  2. European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Our Privacy Policy deals with how we handle “personal information” and “personal data” as defined in the COPPA, and GDPR.

We publish this Privacy Policy in order to make it easy for our customers and the public to understand what personal information we collect and store, why we do so, how we receive, obtain, store or use that information, and the rights an individual has with respect to their personal information in our possession.

2. Personal Information of Children

Our App is specifically designed to let parents have control over the content that their children consume. A parent creates an account for themselves and for their children, and children can only watch content and use the App after their parent creates an account for them. A parent must sign into the account, select a child profile before the child may use the App, i.e. children cannot sign into the service on their own. Information about children is entered by their parents.

We do not permit children under 13 to create an account and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without the consent and at the direction of a parent. Please contact us if you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent so that we may delete the information as soon as possible. If we find out that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without their parents' permission, we will delete it.

Parents who create an account or purchase a subscription to the App may set up a child profile associated with the parent’s account so that children under 13 may access the App under the parent’s supervision.

3. Information That We Collect

We collect personal information and usage information when parents download and set up the App, and when parents and children use it, including:
